About Gingersnap

Hi, I’m Lauren—designer, marketing strategist, brand translator, and the person small businesses call when their brand doesn’t quite match how good they actually are.

I founded Gingersnap Creative Co. after more than a decade working inside architecture, property management, and commercial real estate firms, leading branding and marketing initiatives for companies operating at regional, national, and sometimes international levels.

Somewhere between high-stakes proposals, rebrands, and “we need this yesterday” deadlines, I realized my favorite work was helping businesses find clarity—then designing something beautiful and strategic around it.

So I built my business dedicated to exactly that…

Proof I Know
What I’m Doing

My work has lived at the intersection of design, strategy, and real-world business goals where marketing isn’t just creative… it’s tied directly to revenue, reputation, and growth.

I’ve led and executed the full spectrum of brand and marketing initiatives, including:

  • High-stakes proposals, pitch decks, and executive-level marketing materials

  • Website strategy, audits, and full redesigns

  • Company rebrands and visual identity systems

  • Social media strategy, content creation, and brand voice development

  • Public relations, press releases, and storytelling

  • Copywriting across print, digital, and web

In fast-moving environments where timelines are tight and expectations are high, I became known for translating complex ideas into clear, polished, persuasive communication—the kind that helps companies win business, build credibility, and stand out in competitive markets. That real-world experience shapes everything I do at Gingersnap.

Because a strong brand isn’t decoration. It’s infrastructure.

I’m also a wife, a mom to a spirited two-year-old, a lover of good typography, cozy homes, Halloween season, and projects that probably require more ambition than I have in free time.

My life is a mix of design files, playground snacks, and wondering if I remembered to feed our Bearded Dragon, Waffles. Somehow, all of it informs the work.

Years in fast-paced architecture & real estate taught me to move quickly without sacrificing quality. Motherhood sharpened my efficiency. And running my own business? That taught me exactly how much trust it takes for a small business to hand someone their brand. I don’t take that lightly.

Because when you hire Gingersnap, you’re not padding the margins of a giant agency or funding a corporate holiday party somewhere. You’re supporting a small, independent business— quite literally helping a mom keep the snack drawer stocked, save for her kid’s college fund, and maybe plan a memory-making family vacation that everyone will talk about for years.

It’s personal for you. It’s personal for me, too. And that tends to make the work better.
